“Nursing is a Calling,” 2023, cast bronze, WNMU.
“Nursing is a Calling” was commissioned by WNMU to memorialize beloved faculty member, Pam Kuthe (1945-2020). The sculpture took 14 months to complete and can be found greeting new nursing students in front of the WNMU School of Nursing.
“The Ice Cream Girls - Martha,” 2021, cast bronze, WNMU.
Martha, the first of the “Ice Cream Girls” sculptures was commissioned by WNMU commemorating Martha Smith (1930-2017), wife of former WNMU basketball coach, Jim Smith. Installed in June 2021, it marked the end of pandemic lockdowns encouraging Silver Citians to come out and enjoy some ice cream. She can be found perched on the wall at the foot of the Bowden Hall steps on the WNMU campus.
